Clinical sexology intern

Sophie has a bachelor's degree in social work, a master's degree in sociology and is currently pursuing a master's degree in clinical sexology at UQAM. Her professional journey, spanning nearly nine years in community and school settings, has led her to work with a diversity of people, including victims of sexual violence, adolescents and young adults, as well as individuals living with mental health difficulties. She adopts an inclusive and anti-oppressive approach to her work.

Sophie creates a safe and welcoming space where each individual can express themselves freely and be heard without judgment. She centers her work on an authentic therapeutic alliance and believes in active collaboration with her clients. Currently, she is completing her training in the psychodynamic approach.

She is particularly interested in non-monogamous relationships, the diversity of eroticisms, body image difficulties, as well as sexual and gender diversity.
